We are seeking an exceptional and self-motivated Principal Algorithms Engineer to join our growing R&D team at Becton, Dickinson and Company located in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will have strong statistical data analysis skills and be a able to achieve results with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, statistics, or relevant field is required.
→
Strong programming skills in Python or MATLAB
→
Strong experience with deep reinforcement learning
→
Strong experience with general machine learning and deep learning techniques (CNN, LSTM, Transformer, etc.)
→
Strong experience in digital signal processing, mathematical modeling and algorithm development.

Nice to Have

Experience working with biomedical time series data (arterial blood pressure, ECG, EEG, etc).
Experience with control theory.
Knowledge of patient monitoring and human physiology
