Quality Inspector

7 AM - 7 PM (4 days on 4 days off)

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

• Conducts sampling, product testing and visual inspection of finished goods, identifying product defects and non-conformances.
• Must be familiar with and understand Quality inspection procedures and standards.  Regularly monitor product for acceptable quality to the latest product specifications/procedures.
• Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/testing data and maintains an easily retrievable filing system.
• Must be comfortable in operating a computer and keying inspections into the data management system. General computer knowledge required.
• Reads and interprets sampling plans to determine sample size and/or accept/reject criteria.
• Assists with root cause analysis activities.
• Issues product holds and pallet identification tickets.
• Conducts device history, procedural and product audits, as directed by Quality Management.
• Monitors product and/or process trends at discretion of QA Management.
• Conducts special sampling and product testing, as required.
• Collects product/process data for FWO’s, special projects, validations, etc., as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous QA experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
