Reliability Engineer

Our Morwell site is located about 150km east of Melbourne, manufacturing a large range of products in yoghurt and dairy desserts including brands such as Farmers Union, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week across 9 lines the site is highly automated and is the largest yoghurt facility in Australia. 

We're looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our Morwell site and play a key role in improving equipment reliability, asset performance and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Engineering and Reliability Manager, you'll lead the delivery of the site's Asset Care Plan, drive continuous improvement initiatives and work closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and support site performance.

This role works Monday to Friday across normal site operating hours.

  Support the site maintenance team to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

  Drive equipment reliability and performance by delivering and improving the site's Asset Care Plan

• →

  Identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions to reduce downtime.

• →

  Manage contractors and site services, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

  Work closely with production and operational teams to support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

  Maintain and improve asset information in MEX

• →

  Energy isolation plans, Permit to work owner

• →

  Manage technical library , electrical drawings and engineering drawings

• Qualification in Engineering and have experience in a manufacturing, maintenance or reliability environment

• Experience leading people and building strong relationships with teams, contractors and stakeholders

• Experience delivering projects and driving continuous improvement outcomes.

• organised, commercially minded and confident managing competing priorities.

• proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

• CAD/MEX experience highly regarded

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
