What You’ll Do: Manage a large team of maintenance personnel across the Southeastern U.S., fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Oversee preventative maintenance, repair operations, and vendor relationships to keep our fleet running efficiently. Drive cost-saving initiatives, perform detailed ROI analyses, and make strategic recommendations to leadership. Ensure strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and develop staff, maintaining high standards of service and safety. Benore, President and CEO Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience: 10+ years in diesel maintenance or shop management, with a strong technical or mechanical background. At least 10 years managing teams of 20+ technicians and administrative staff. Certifications: Minimum of three key diesel certifications. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of maintenance systems like TMW and TMT. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and high performance. Analytical Skills: Strong cost management, root cause analysis abilities, and experience in developing action plans to enhance operational efficiency. Licensing: Active Class D driver’s license required; Class A license preferred. Additional Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong communication abilities for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
