If you’re passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative setting, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is looking for a Patient Access Assistant.

Excellent Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations
Greets and provides direction to all the patients and visitor in the division and ensure that they report to the correct Registration area.
Maintains patient confidentiality all the times.
Assist all the patients with Check-in and Registration.
Tracks waiting time of patients from arrival to Registration and escalates any backlog to the management to improve the overall patient experience.
Assists with mailing appointment letters and no show letters.
Performs crowd control (makes sure that after check-in, patients wait in the designated areas, and makes sure the patients waiting to check out proceed to the post-service scheduling area).
Maintains record keeping and regular reporting of departmental KPIs related to check-in, registration, and check-out times.
Performs a variety of clerical assignments (e.g., photocopying, simple registrations, etc).
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Assesses gaps in policies and procedures, and create necessary policies and procedures to fulfill these gaps.
Understands and adheres to the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.
Familiar with the Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statements.

$33,737.60-$43,670.00/Year
