Legal Intern - Malta Based

Betsson Group is looking for a hardworking, bright and ambitious legal intern to join the Legal and Compliance Department in its Malta office. The Legal and Compliance Department acts as a support function across the group and interacts with many different aspects of the gambling business on a daily basis. This role will therefore expose you to a number of different areas. 

 We will offer you a paid internship working on flexible hours, where you will form part of our Legal and Compliance Team. You will be required to handle many administrative tasks and assist the  legal team in their daily work. 

Tasks include coordinating contract finalisation, filing and archiving documents, and other ad-hoc tasks. You will be given independence and will be expected to come up with your own procedures and ways of doing things.

This role would suit somebody studying for a law degree, but the most important thing is that you have an interest in how a legal team works, and are interested in the online gaming industry. 

This role is fully based in Malta for Malta based candidates only 

In terms of skills, it is critical that you have excellent attention to detail, as you will be expected to read documentation and understand quickly what needs to be done. You should have the confidence to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. 

 You should be motivated and committed, and willing to learn. Your language skills are very important and we expect you to be fluent in at least English, verbally and in writing.
