We’re hiring a Senior Portfolio Accountant to join our growing accounting team supporting a dynamic portfolio of multifamily properties. This full-time, in-office position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team, contribute to a variety of accounting functions, and play a key role in financial operations.

 


Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial health of a portfolio of multifamily properties through comprehensive accounting procedures.
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including AP, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for multiple properties within the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Assist in the annual audit process and provide supporting schedules and documentation to external auditors
  • Special projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily real estate accounting.
  • Proficiency in Yardi is required.
  • Working knowledge of OneSite is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
