Election Impact Team Lead - GA

• →Lead and support a team of up to five Election Impact Organizers in daily voter outreach 

• →Build relationships with community leaders through one-on-one and small-group meetings, sharing the team's purpose and goals 

• →Canvass alongside your team — door-to-door outreach, phone and text banking, social media posts, and community events and meetings 

• →Train and support volunteers 

• →Enter voter data accurately into MiniVAN and complete accurate daily reports 

• →Help your team meet its voter-contact goals each shift 

• →Follow the provided script and share accurate information with residents 

• →Stay informed about the political issues relevant to the campaign

• Door-to-door canvassing involves covering assigned turf that can span several miles per shift, often with homes spread far apart and across uneven terrain or roads without sidewalks 

• Standing and walking for up to about 4 hours per shift in varying weather, and carrying up to 10 pounds 

• Phone and text banking involves working through call and text lists using a provided script 

• Experience leading or coordinating a team, with comfort giving and receiving performance feedback 

• Ability to train and support volunteers 

• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a positive, enthusiastic approach to engaging Black voters across a range of social and economic backgrounds 

• Reliability and follow-through — arriving on time and prepared at staging locations, events, and meetings, and helping your team do the same 

• Comfort using a smartphone, web browser, and the MiniVAN app to record voter responses, send texts, make calls, and submit social media posts (a personal smartphone compatible with MiniVAN, able to send texts and take photos, is required) 

• Ability to read a map and follow an assigned route, including across rural roads and turf 

• Flexibility and adaptability as the needs of the Election Impact Team change 

• Willingness to attend mandatory orientation and all trainings 

• Previous experience with a campaign, community organization, sales, or customer service 

• Existing relationships with local community groups and organizations 

• Bilingual English–Spanish or English–Haitian Creole 

• Team Leads are responsible for getting themselves to assigned staging locations and turf. A valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle during working hours is required. 

• If you choose to use a personal vehicle and would like mileage reimbursement, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required, and reimbursement is provided at the federal mileage rate.
