After-Hours 11th Hour Hospice Volunteer

• →Provide a calm, supportive presence for patients who are actively dying or nearing end of life
• →Offer emotional support and reassurance to family members and loved ones 
• →Sit vigil at bedside, ensuring no patient dies alone when possible
• →Communicate any changes, concerns, or needs to the After-Hours On-Call (AOC) nurse
• →Maintain a peaceful, respectful environment in alignment with patient and family wishes
• →Support a comforting atmosphere (quiet presence, conversation if appropriate, reading, music, etc.)
• →Adhere to all safety protocols, boundaries, and patient privacy policies
