Automation Controls Specialist - PLC

• →Design, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, ensuring efficient and accurate system functionality.
• →Support Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming tasks, especially using Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000.
• →Assist with the creation and revision of electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• →Build and modify control panels and install automation components on the production floor.
• →Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical control systems at the component level using meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• →Interface with AC/DC drives, sensors, encoders, actuators, and instrumentation.
• →Write procedures for system commissioning, perform functional testing, and support installations.
• →Deliver ongoing technical support to internal teams throughout the lifecycle of control system deployments.

• Hands-on ability in both programming and troubleshooting PLC systems (expect a 50/50 split).
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting with real-world automation challenges.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for creating, modifying, and documenting electrical schematics.
• Comfortable working fully onsite, Monday through Friday, within a typical 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule (some flexibility available).
• Exposure to industrial automation components including drives, relays, sensors, and signal devices.

• 2+ years of PLC experience with a relevant technical degree or 3–5 years of hands-on experience without a degree.
• Strong foundation in troubleshooting and support of automation systems, not just programming.
• Allen-Bradley experience is preferred, though transferable experience with Siemens or other platforms is acceptable.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and work collaboratively across disciplines.
