A growing production organization is adding a Manufacturing Engineer to help strengthen shop floor performance, improve repeatability, and support a culture of practical continuous improvement. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working close to operations, solving real production issues, and helping turn good processes into scalable, well-documented systems. The role is especially well suited for an engineer with solid mechanical instincts, a hands on mindset, and experience improving manufacturing workflows in a fast moving environment.
- Direct visibility into manufacturing performance and the chance to influence efficiency, quality, and day to day execution.
- A hands on engineering environment where practical ideas are valued and quickly put into action.
- Close partnership with production and quality teams on meaningful process improvement work.
- Exposure to mechanical manufacturing operations, tooling, documentation, and standardization efforts.
- Longer term growth potential within a stable and evolving operation.
- Build and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, and other manufacturing documentation that support safe, consistent production.
- Evaluate current workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements that increase throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen quality performance.
- Partner with production personnel to troubleshoot recurring issues and convert short term fixes into lasting process improvements.
- Support the design or refinement of fixtures and tooling used to improve manufacturability and shop floor efficiency.
- Review production data and operating trends to identify bottlenecks, variation, and opportunities for better performance.
- Work cross functionally with operations and quality stakeholders to support continuous improvement efforts and stronger process control.
- Help create practical, repeatable methods that improve output while supporting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering with a track record of process optimization or process improvement.
- Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, or other manufacturing documentation.
- Strong Excel skills and solid mechanical aptitude.
- Exposure to fixture or tooling design is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with production teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
