Production Engineer

A growing manufacturing organization is looking for a Production Engineer to help strengthen day to day operations, improve process flow, and support a high visibility production environment. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real shop floor challenges, working closely with operations teams, and building practical improvements that raise quality, output, and consistency. The team is open to early career engineers who bring solid fundamentals, strong initiative, and relevant exposure to manufacturing or process improvement work.

• Support daily production activities and help maintain efficient manufacturing performance 
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, output, quality, and process reliability 
• Assist with troubleshooting production challenges and participate in root cause analysis efforts 
• Develop, update, and organize work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures 
• Partner with cross functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation 
• Help reinforce sustainable manufacturing practices that improve repeatability and team effectiveness 
• Contribute to training support and knowledge sharing tied to production processes and best practices 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 
• Exposure to manufacturing, production support, process improvement, internships, co ops, or other relevant engineering experience 
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to analyze issues in a practical production setting 
• Ability to support manufacturing operations in a hands on environment 
• Strong communication and documentation skills 
• Engineering degree preferred, though early career candidates may be considered based on overall fit and hiring guidance 
• Background in mechanical manufacturing or similar production environments is helpful
