Senior Software Engineer, Desktop Applications

Our client is hiring a senior level engineer to help shape a modern desktop software experience that supports business critical workflows in connected product environments. This is a high impact opportunity for someone who enjoys building polished user facing applications while also owning the service and cloud side of the stack. • Design and deliver desktop software for business critical workflows across Windows and Linux
• Build polished cross platform experiences in Flutter and Dart, while contributing across architecture, testing, packaging, and release readiness
• Develop Python services and integrations that support asynchronous processing, event distribution, and communication between application layers
• Partner across application and cloud layers to connect client software with messaging, streaming, and data services in production
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance across the full software lifecycle, from development through deployment and support
• Contribute as a senior engineer in a startup environment, making pragmatic technical decisions and taking ownership of outcomes

• 6 plus years of software engineering experience with meaningful ownership across user facing applications and backend services
• Hands on experience developing desktop or cross platform applications using Flutter, Qt, Electron, React Native, or similar technologies
• Strong Flutter and Dart background, especially in desktop application development and cross platform delivery
• Meaningful backend experience with Python, event driven systems, streaming applications, and cloud integrations
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure to support production applications
• Strong experience with asynchronous programming, event driven systems, network protocols, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience designing and operating production applications across Linux and Windows environments
• Track record of shipping and supporting production software end to end
• Strong debugging, communication, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and succeed in a build minded startup setting
