Blue Bottle Coffee Korea is seeking a Product Merchandise Manager who will lead the strategic direction of our local product portfolio - from concept to launch to in-market performance. You will identify opportunities by staying closely connected with global product R&D and management teams and understanding local consumer insights and trends, proposing new ideas that can elevate Blue Bottle’s product experience in Korea. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for both creativity and precision - overseeing the entire lifecycle of our products and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.

This position will be based in Seoul, Korea, and report to the Head of Product Management APAC directly with dotted reporting to the GM of Korea.

  • Set a comprehensive product vision and strategy, including product positioning, pricing, detailed features, definitions, and Go-To-Market (GTM) plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional global and local teams to develop product strategies and roadmaps for our core merchandising category, integrating global strategy into local product assortments.

  • Drive the execution of the Product & Marketing Calendar, ensuring seamless integration and alignment across Product R&D, Marketing, and Menu/Product Management.

  • Lead the development of product concepts and final products based on consumer insights, trends, and business strategies, identifying clear growth opportunities.

  • Manage end-to-end product development (from concept to commercialization), including planning, development, testing, launch, and performance tracking.

  • Maintain clear product rollout plans and calendars, while overseeing demand planning and inventory forecasts for new products.

  • Monitor and optimize product performance throughout its lifecycle by analyzing sales data, financial metrics (COGS, P&L, expense budgets), and guest feedback.

  • Conduct comprehensive post-launch reviews to measure customer engagement and product-market fit, proposing data-informed action plans for future iterations.

  • Work closely with external partners and internal departments (Cafe, E&C, SCM, Finance, etc.) to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time through seamless execution.

  • Strategic and creative with strong business acumen

  • Deeply curious about product development from concept to guest experience, with an eye for quality and detail

  • An excellent communicator and motivator who builds strong relationships across teams.

  • Analytical and commercially minded, balancing innovation with business viability

  • A proactive problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • 8+ years of experience in product, brand, or category management (F&B, retail, or FMCG preferred)

  • Proven track record of managing full product lifecycles and driving product development from scratch (including OEM/ODM vendor management).

  • Strong knowledge of product regulations, import/export processes, and compliance (e.g., labeling requirements, customs compliance, safety certifications).

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with proven experience working closely with global HQ or regional teams.

  • Native fluency in Korean and business-level English (written and verbal).
