Public Safety Traffic (Student)

• →Perform traffic control as necessary
• →Able to work assigned shifts, which may include day, evening, night, weekend, or holiday shift hours
• →Communicate effectively and interact with others while handling various situations and problem solving
• →May receive and handle all types of telephone calls and e-mails requiring immediate attention
• →May dispatch calls and relay information to appropriate units to ensure prompt response to calls and to best utilize departmental and university resources
• →Transmit vital information in emergency and non-emergency situations to appropriate Public Safety units, university departments, and/or outside agencies
• →Must (occasionally) lift/carry and/or push/pull up to 100 lbs.

• Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or a High School student at Bob Jones Academy
• Good communications skills
• Education: High School graduate or GED Experience

• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Access
• Microsoft Excel
• Web-based programs

Certificates & Licenses:

• May obtain CPR, First Aid
