Perform aircraft performance analysis to support activities such as design decision support, requirement verification, and building of flight manual chart

Generating and processing aircraft aerodynamic characteristic data using various means such as hand analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and wind tunnel testing.
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years of experience in performing aircraft aerodynamic assessments
Experience in building and utilizing aircraft aerodynamic databases to support aerodynamic assessments
Experience in performing aircraft performance assessments for various phases of flight.
Bachelor's or Master’s in engineering, with Aerodynamics or Aerospace emphasis
7+ years of experience in performing aircraft aerodynamic assessments
Background with aircraft performance analysis and certification for military aircraft
Experience in planning/conducting wind tunnel testing, and with processing wind tunnel data
3+ years of experience in performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis or processing CFD-derived data to support analyses
Experience with aircraft flight tests that support aerodynamic verification and/or certification
Programming experience (e.g. Python, FORTRAN), particularly in supporting aerodynamic analyses
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
