Requirements
~1 min readBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years of experience in performing aircraft stability & control (S&C) assessments or evaluating aircraft flying/handling qualities
Experience in incorporating databases (aerodynamic, propulsion, mass properties, etc.) into S&C toolsets, enabling aircraft S&C evaluation
Background in aircraft flying/handling quality certification efforts.
Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, with Aerodynamics or Aerospace emphasis
Background with aircraft S&C and certification for military aircraft, particularly MIL-HDBK-516C & MIL-STD-1797
Experience with aircraft control law evaluation
Experience with planning / conducting wind tunnel testing and with subsequent data reduction
Experience in aligning S&C analyses and associated flight testing
MATLAB & Simulink experience
Programming experience, particularly C++
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
