Associate Global Trade Control Specialist

• →Assist with the review and update of existing policies and procedures for business; create and maintain support materials for Global Trade Compliance.
• →Monitor and review export filings and reports generated by export compliance tools and through audit.
• →Maintain records and draft reports related to corrective actions.
• →Periodically audit HTS database.
• →Perform audits for global Supply Chain transparency.
• →Audit import entries and procedures, including verification of classification, valuation, country of origin, commercial invoice, documentation, and other government agency requirements; understand and ensure appropriate use of standard trade definitions most commonly used in international sales contracts.
• →Conduct monthly Global Trade Awareness Training.
• →Communicate pertinent product information to internal customers, as well as Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, Suppliers and other functional groups.
• →Apply continuous improvement for greater efficiency and cost savings.

• 2+ years of total related work experience
• 1+ years of experience working with import and/or export regulations
• Experience Auditing in Aerospace
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with all levels of employees
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time - internationally and domestically

• Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study
• 1+ years of experience in supply chain, sales, and/or accounting knowledge in the aerospace industries
• Experience with basic ERP system functionality such as Systems Applications and Processing (SAP)
• Experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Experience participating in compliance assessment activities supporting global trade controls matters
• Project Management Experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $62,000 - $88,000
