Boeing Global Services is seeking a KC-46 Repair/Modifications Technician in direct support of KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program within Boeing Global Services Seymour Johnson AFB, NC.

Responsibilities

→Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
→Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
→Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
→Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
→Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
→Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
→Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
→Oversees training.
→Works under general direction.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices
Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time both domestically and internationally
Minimum of 3 years' experience do you have in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
Minimum of 3 years' experience working from heights & using fall protection equipment with weight limitations

Experience with repairing and troubleshooting aircraft structural/composite, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, environmental, and avionics systems
Experience you have in avionics troubleshooting
