CPA Accountant - Remote

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our fully remote finance team and take ownership of core accounting and reporting operations. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role with direct exposure to finance leadership and involvement in key business decisions.

You’ll own the monthly close, financial reporting, and process improvements while helping modernize and automate accounting workflows. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys hands-on accounting, analytical work, and improving how finance operates—without people management.

• →Own the end-to-end monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• →Manage core accounting activities including general ledger, accounts receivable oversight, cash activity, and balance sheet reconciliations
• →Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements and management reports
• →Support investor, statutory, and internal reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• →Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, highlighting key trends and business drivers
• →Build and maintain Excel-based models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility and efficiency
• →Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, especially around close and reporting
• →Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and accounting standards
• →Partner cross-functionally and provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

• CPA license required
• 3–6 years of experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination
• Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas; Power Query or VBA a plus)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Self-starter who can operate independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
