Responsibilities

Develop new backend features focused on high scale and performance.

Design and implement auto-scaling solutions for microservices.
→
Solve challenges related to distributed systems at scale.
→
Measure system performance; identify bottlenecks; optimize accordingly.
→
Build internal tools supporting testing automation, deployment pipelines & product support.
→
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across geographies (Poland & USA).
→
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
→
Contribute code reviews ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
→
Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.

You have 3+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficient in Java; familiarity with other scripting languages like Python, Scala or PHP is a plus.
Comfortable working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Knowledgeable about container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB preferred but not required.
Strong communicator who meets deadlines reliably while collaborating effectively within teams.
Passionate about learning new technologies & applying them pragmatically in production environments.
Fluent English speaker capable of working seamlessly across international teams.
