We are seeking a backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. In this role, you will be supporting our RESTful APIs, leveraging AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway to build high-performance, cost-effective serverless solutions. You will work closely with frontend teams and stakeholders to transform business requirements into robust technical services.

Dinova is now a part of Buyers Edge Platform, a leading digital procurement network and solutions provider for the foodservice industry, delivering savings, insights, and technology that help operators, distributors, and manufacturers succeed. Through its portfolio of solutions, including Digital Procurement Network, Fresh Services, Software Solutions, and Supply Chain Management, Buyers Edge is reshaping how the foodservice industry connects and thrives. Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs using Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
Develop optimize efficient code for AWS Lambda using Node.js, TypeScript.
Design, implement, and maintain complex relational database schemas. Write optimized SQL queries to support business with data analytics.
Integrate backend services with Postgres SQL Aurora.
Monitor and optimize API latency, execution time, unhandled exceptions using AWS X-Ray and CloudWatch.

3+ years of experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS (PostgreSQL), and IAM.
3+ years of experience with Javascript/Node.js
Strong experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven patterns (SQS/SNS)
Expertise in PostgreSQL. You should be comfortable with advanced SQL, window functions, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in using CloudWatch, and X-Ray to trace requests across distributed systems.
Experience configuring Bitbucket Pipelines, including parallel steps, service containers (for local DB testing), and deployment permissions.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
