The Aftercast Operator, within Bradken Lima (Linings S.A.)’s Production team, is a skilled and committed role in our fabrication shop. In this role, you will perform the finishing/lining of required liners in line with current codes, specifications, and standards, ensuring safe and efficient execution.

• →Perform all required finishing tasks as assigned by the area lead, according to work orders.
• →Cut rubber and prepare liners when requested by the shop supervisor or plant manager, or when necessary to complete your tasks; provide support as needed during your work hours.
• →Communicate and work closely with the Quality Control department.
• →Assist with general workshop requirements.
• →Maintain order and cleanliness (5S) in your work area.
• →Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring all work complies with the company’s labor practices and health, safety, and environmental standards.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum education: High school.
• Employment certificate in a similar role.
• At least 1 year of experience as a rubber lining operator.
• Ability to lift at least 25 kg.
• Prior experience with rubber lining for liners.
• Basic knowledge of different finishing types.
• Know where and how the workpiece should be processed during finishing.
• Technical knowledge of materials, metrology, calculations, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings.
• 3+ years of experience as a Finishing and/or Lining Operator.
• Experience in plastics companies performing deburring tasks.
• Ability to operate power tools (grinders, angle grinders, etc.).
• Forklift operation is a plus.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent tight deadlines.
• Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical information or instructions.
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with organization, planning, and attention to detail.
