Industrial Maintenance Controls and Repair Specialist

Brady Corporation is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Controls and Repair Specialist to oversee the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated manufacturing machinery and facility control systems. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for keeping our production lines running efficiently, minimizing downtime, and ensuring all electrical and mechanical control systems operate safely.

• Guide, train, and mentor junior and lower-level maintenance technicians to build their troubleshooting skills and technical capabilities.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control system failures.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Execute scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on automated machinery and instrumentation.
• Calibrate and repair sensors, actuators, transmitters, and process control loops.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, ladder logic, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and technical manuals.
• Assist in designing, installing, and commissioning new automated control systems and hardware upgrades.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts changes, and program modifications in the CMMS.
