Responsibilities
~3 min read- →You'll drive event production and strategy for our flagship external events and tier 1 internal events, while leading the development of a three-year Executive Program strategy. You'll also partner with us to build the event measurement, strategy, and ops infrastructure that scales our entire event portfolio - a chance to shape how a high-growth company thinks about events as a business driver.
- →You'll report directly to the VP of Global Events and work across our event, agency, creative, sponsorship, and demand generation partners to execute 6+ major global programs annually. Your work will span strategy, creative, logistics, speaker sourcing, budget ownership, and the data that proves ROI. You'll build playbooks and templates that make future events faster and smarter.
- →Executive Program Strategy - Spearhead the development of a comprehensive three-year Executive Program strategy and roadmap. Define objectives, target audience segments, experience models, measurement frameworks, and go-to-market approach
- →Forge & Flagship External Events - Drive key workstreams for our flagship conference and other owned, customer-facing programs, including venue management, creative, F&B, AV, and attendee experience. You'll own reporting on attendance, engagement, and pipeline metrics while building playbooks that guide future iterations
- →Internal Events - Manage strategy, logistics, and ROI for Sales Kickoff and our annual incentive trip. These are brand and culture moments - you'll ensure they hit their engagement and business objectives
- →Event Measurement & Reporting - Work with our analytics team to define KPIs and build dashboards across our owned events and 200+ regional events. You'll help us continue moving from "how many people showed up?" to "what pipeline did this generate, and what should we do differently next time?" This is core strategy work
- →Global Playbooks & Templates - Codify what works. Build repeatable ops workflows, vendor templates, creative briefs, and speaker contracts so every event is smarter and faster to execute
- →Lead development of the three-year Executive Program strategy, including audience segmentation, experience design, measurement framework, and implementation roadmap
- →Drive key workstreams for Forge and other flagship external events; own reporting on attendance, engagement, and pipeline metrics
- →Manage strategy, execution, and ROI for internal events, including Sales Kickoff and annual incentive trip
- →Manage external speaker sourcing and contracts; identify and negotiate with marquee talent
- →Work with the analytics team to define KPIs and build dashboards across owned and regional events
- →Build and maintain global event playbooks, templates, and vendor relationships
- →Manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and optimize spend
- →Develop and track event strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams (promotion, comms, attendee journey)
- →Contribute to portfolio strategy and measurement framework rollout
You have 8+ years of experience driving events at high-growth B2B tech companies. You're comfortable with $5M+ event budgets, vendor negotiations, and strategic problem-solving when timelines are tight. You're analytically minded - you examine data before and after every event and ask "what did we learn?" You've owned complex programs, work effectively across functions, influence through relationships and ideas, and maintain composure and focus in high-pressure situations.
Must-Haves
- 8+ years in event marketing and production within B2B tech (corporate, customer, or employee programs)
- Proven track record managing budgets over $5M
- Experience owning complex, multi-faceted event programs
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to define success metrics
- Comfort with vendor negotiation, contracts, and accounting processes
- Excellent project management and ability to execute under tight timelines
- Cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into executable roadmaps
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with digital or hybrid event components (livestream, registration platforms, virtual attendee experiences)
- Track record building playbooks or scalable processes
- Background managing high-touch executive or incentive programs
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $103,000 and $150,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $117,000 and $173,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.
