Delivery Network Assistant (Exam) Role purpose: This role provides operational, logistical, and administrative support to ensure the secure and compliant delivery of exams. It supports all stages of the exam cycle, including venue and equipment preparation, materials handling, test-day coordination, and post-test activities. The role also helps coordinate internal and external venues, ensuring all processes follow British Council and awarding body standards. Key priorities include supporting venue and resource readiness, maintaining accurate handling of materials and equipment, ensuring full compliance with security procedures, and providing high-quality support to the delivery team. Main Accountabilities: Test-Day Preparation & Operational Readiness Support the smooth delivery of test-day and post-test operations in line with global standards. Prepare venues, equipment, signage, materials, and IT resources to ensure full operational readiness. Secure Handling of Exam Materials Manage the secure storage and transportation of confidential examination materials. Work within the CMR (Confidential Material Room) as required. Support packing and post-test processing activities. Compliance, Security & Risk Management Ensure full compliance with exam security, confidentiality, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Escalate any incidents or security breaches promptly to the Delivery Network Coordinator. Stakeholder Support & Coordination Act as a key point of contact during test delivery. Provide logistical and operational support to candidates, venue staff, and delivery teams. Respond to queries and coordinate activities relating to staffing, venue payments, financial processes, and equipment tracking. Knowledge & Experience: Education Essential: * Degree or equivalent experience Experience Essential: * Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timeframes Desirable: * Basic understanding of risk, compliance, and confidentiality procedures. * Experience in logistics, event coordination, or regulated service delivery * Experience working with assessment services.
