CVOR Surgical Tech First Assist (CSTFA) Full Time - 80hrs/pp - Bronson Methodist Hospital

Are you ready to play a vital role in life-changing procedures and work alongside some of the best healthcare professionals in the field? We're seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist to join our dynamic and compassionate operating room team.

In this crucial position, you’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care for patients of all ages—from neonates to geriatrics. Your expertise and preparation will directly impact patient outcomes and surgical team performance.

High school diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist First Assistant program

BLS certification (required by completion of core orientation).

Demonstrated competency in most surgical procedures

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in handling equipment and positioning patients.
