Responsibilities

→Collect specimens via venipuncture or capillary puncture.
→Ensure correct specimen types are collected based on labeling and reference materials.
→Respond to STAT orders and prioritize tasks according to policy.
→Maintain communication with team members and charge personnel.
→Verify accuracy of test orders and participate in quality assurance checks.
→Perform EKGs and specialized tests (e.g., sweat chloride, bleeding time).
