Mechanic Intern

• → Assist in performing routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks)
• →Help diagnose mechanical issues using tools and diagnostic equipment
• →Support repairs on engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
• →Supports repairs on small fleet vehicles and trailers
• →Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas
• →Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• →Observe and learn from senior mechanics and technicians
• →Maintain basic service records and documentation

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• →Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in automotive technology or a related field
• → Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools
• →Willingness to learn and take direction
• →Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• →Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
• →Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, etc.)
• →Ability to read and understand technical and service manuals
• →Valid Virginia driver's license with no more than 7 points, no DUI convictions within past 5 years or pending DUI convictions
