System Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

The System Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will play a critical role in advancing the College’s financial strategy and operational decision-making. This individual will lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes that support the institution’s mission and long-term sustainability. Working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, this individual will provide financial insights, develop tools for data-driven decisions, and partner with leadership across academic and administrative areas.

• →Lead the College’s annual operating and capital budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategic goals, and broad stakeholder engagement.
• →Manage multi-year financial planning and forecasting to support long-term institutional sustainability.
• →Support the College’s Online Education operations as the primary financial resource supporting the Vice President of Online.
• →Provide in-depth financial analyses to evaluate initiatives, academic programs, capital projects, and operational efficiencies.
• →Partner with leaders across academic and administrative units to provide guidance and ensure resource alignment.
• →Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively recommend corrective actions or opportunities.
• →Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and service within the finance organization.
• →Other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• 9+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into accessible information.
• Ability to work effectively in a flat organizational structure, building partnerships and influencing without heavy hierarchy.
• Experience with higher education finance desirable.

$125,000 – 160,000 per year.

This is an exempt position.

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.

Position requires standing or sitting in a stationary position as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.

Position also requires the use of computer technology/equipment.

Position requires the ability to receive information in person and over the telephone.

Position requires the ability to convey detailed and important instructions or ideas accurately.
