Exports Logistic Coordinator

• Two years administration experience

• Experience in a logistics environment

• Experience in an export environment advantageous

• Grade 12

• Qualification in Supply Chain & Logistics Management advantageous

• High levels of accuracy

• Attention to detail

• Deadline driven

• Must be levelheaded and have a good sense of urgency and going the extra mile

• Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and thinking logically at all times

• Team-player able to multi-task and take instruction

• Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and external partners

• Ability to resolve problems pro-actively and independently

• Service orientated

• Quick thinking and able to deal with urgent situations successfully

• Microsoft Office Dynamics 365 experience advantageous

• Computer Literate (MS Office)

• Numerical ability essential

Responsible for the effective planning, dispatching and tracking of loads both locally and into Africa.

• Planning of trucks for cross border customers

• Work with sales and purchasing teams to ensure timeous delivery from suppliers to clients.

• Receipting of purchase orders for transport related payments.

• Negotiations of rates with transporters.

• Arranging Inspections with quality auditors for cross border regions when required.

• Generating commercial invoices/invoices and picking lists.

• Submission of test certs to clients when required.

• Ensure relevant export documentation and done timeously.

• Daily tracking information monitored, and clients updated daily on progress of delivery.

• Attend to problems immediately to ensure timeous delivery of goods to clients with

no additional costs/penalties incurred.

• Abide by warehouse procedures to ensure all stock is prepared timeously

and trucks loaded efficiently with no delays.

• Other tasks as instructed by management from time to time.
