High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting (preferred). At least 3 years experience as a Painter or Stainer or similar transferable experience in a related field. Ability to work on a team, willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Effectively use painting/staining techniques and follow Company processes, work orders, specifications, and plans for high-end residential and commercial projects.
- →Accurately apply paints, stains, and finishes using a variety of brushes. Apply caulking, surface coatings, and perform minor cosmetic repairs as well as masking and pre-spray prep.
- →Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed to ensure a smooth and clean finish. Disassemble and reassemble building components, including windows, doors, jams, etc.
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting (preferred).
- At least 3 years experience as a Painter or Stainer or similar transferable experience in a related field.
- Ability to work on a team, willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to keep paint shop and tools neat, clean and organized.
- Preferred skills, but willing to train the right candidate:
- Proficient in the use of brushes and spray guns.
- Advanced knowledge of paint/stain types and application techniques.
- Familiar with a variety of wood types, stains, and finishing techniques; knowledgeable about factors that affect product quality outcomes.
- Perform heavy physical demands (i.e. lift and move doors that can weigh up to 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
