We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Area Coordinator – Logistics to join our Operations team.
Reporting into the Production Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring all functions within the daily operations (Safety, Food Safety & Quality, Waste & Downtime) are managed efficiently and effectively and support the delivery of year-to-year objectives. You will also be a point of contact for team matters, staffing, coordination, SAP, Workforce Ready and improvement projects at our Hearn Street site in Colac.
Requirements
~1 min read- Working with direction from the Production Lead to support the effective operation of the site and relevant department by dealing with the day-to-day matters that arise.
- Provide first point of contact to team for all matters.
- Support the safety processes by inputting incidents and hazards and follow up on actions.
- Support the quality processes by inputting incidents and follow up on actions.
- Ensure that clear and documented communications are reported back to the Production Lead in a timely fashion.
- Complete staff scheduling within Workforce Ready and publish rosters in a timely manner.
- Support with required SAP entry within the relevant team / shift
- Forklift operation if required
- Dairy manufacturing/production knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to positively influence people and to initiate and deliver change independently or through teamwork.
- Ability to work cross functionally and engage broadly within the business.
- Knowledge and desire to learn the operational methodologies and tools.
- Ability and knowledge to correctly apply company and regulatory policies and procedures throughout their department.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) including the ability to manage workplace communication and effective workplace relationships.
- Commitment to and capacity for personal development.
- Demonstrated logical and lateral thinking skills with a capacity for innovation.
- Current LF Forklift Licence
