~1 min readOur client is seeking a Junior IT Support Technician to join their team and provide technical assistance across the business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to learn and develop within the field of IT support.
As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and providing technical support both remotely and on-site.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Investigate and resolve software and hardware issues.
- →Configure and install workstations with in-house software applications and peripherals for users.
- →Understand, configure and troubleshoot in-house software applications.
- →Perform maintenance and repair of IT hardware equipment as well as Live Casino equipment.
- →Assist with virus detection, maintenance and clean-up of in-house hardware.
- →Provide IT support to users across all company departments.
- →Assist with the installation of new cabling, including cable termination and testing.
- →Install and calibrate audio/visual equipment.
- →Manage technical IT issues within the Live Studios.
- →Monitor the delivery of live streams from the Live Casino and/or studio to the encoding servers.
- →Adhere to our client's policies and procedures while carrying out all duties and responsibilities.
- →Perform any other duties as required.
Requirements
~1 min read- Diploma in Computer Science or an advanced certification in an IT-related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ambitious, motivated and eager to learn.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 shift roster.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the gaming industry would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, with strong computer literacy.
- Flexible approach to work with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
