About the Role
~1 min readAs our next Fitter and Turner, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our refinery and packaging plant equipment. You will have the opportunity to use your expertise to ensure the seamless running of our operations in our high-paced environment of the sugar refinery and packaging department.
Responsibilities
~1 min readThe successful applicant will possess the skills necessary to carry out refinery maintenance, capital projects goals and objectives and be required to:
- →Autonomously undertake maintenance for the Refinery and Packaging plants.
- →Work as part of the refinery maintenance crew to meet the agreed maintenance targets.
- →Liaise with other personnel in undertaking maintenance throughout the factory.
- →Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment is a desirable part of the role.
- →Actively participate in and support Company Workplace Health and Safety initiatives.
The job holder to carry out plant maintenance and capital works including packaging packing equipment, conveyors, palletisers, pumps, fans, gearboxes, motors, vessels, and valves.
Experience in using a computerised maintenance management system would be desirable as would the relevant experience in a food manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
Assist with initiating and developing projects to enhance the availability and efficiency of plant and equipment
Undertake advanced fitting or other tasks (eg welding, hydraulics, etc) within the level of skills held and nominated to be used as part of the classification level.
