Adjunct Teaching - Political Science - POLI 420/421: Constitutional Law

Ph.D. or J.D. The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

• Extensive practical experience in the listed subject matter going beyond personal interest and study.
• Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. 
• Value belonging, student mentoring, and a collegial culture.

Teach the following classes:

• POLI 420: Constitutional Law – American Federal System: This course teaches students about the institutional issues surrounding US government structures, specifically the rights and powers of the President, Congress, the judiciary, states, and individuals.
• POLI 421: Constitutional Law – Rights and Immunities: This course teaches students about some of the most important parts of American politics, the US Supreme Court and its decisions, as well as the historical development of the most important legal doctrines of the Supreme Court.

The selected candidate(s) will be expected to provide classroom instruction, hold office hours, grade papers, and give students feedback. Not expected to participate in faculty meetings or serve on department committees.
