As a Senior Construction Buyer, you’ll be at the heart of procurement decisions that drive the success of the Oosterweel Project. From negotiating with top suppliers to ensuring seamless delivery of materials, this position offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise in procurement, leadership, and collaboration on a transformative scale.

Our client is a leading global construction company known for innovation, sustainability, and diverse projects. They prioritise quality, advanced methodologies, and a supportive team environment, empowering employees to shape the future of the industry.

Develop and manage procurement plans for demolitions, earthworks, and civil works projects.

Review drawings and specifications to identify and schedule material requirements.

Negotiate purchase agreements with suppliers, balancing quality, price, terms, and delivery.

Issue tender inquiries, analyze supplier responses, and select the best options.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and address any discrepancies.

Support construction sites with daily material and equipment needs.

Report directly to the Head of Purchasing.

With Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Finance.

Proven experience as a Construction Buyer, preferably in infrastructure projects.

At least 2-5 years of procurement experience in construction.

In-depth knowledge of materials used in groundworks.

Strong negotiation, communication, and teamwork abilities.
