We are looking for a Senior Plant & Equipment Engineer to join a specialist team responsible for the management, maintenance, and technical support of a diverse fleet of construction and foundation equipment.

In this role, you will support both national and international construction projects, combining technical expertise with hands-on involvement in equipment mobilization, fleet performance, and operational support. You will work closely with site teams and the Methods department while also contributing to the coordination of equipment activities across international projects.

The position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities, support junior engineers, and contribute to technical and strategic decisions within the Plant & Equipment function.

Lead the organization of equipment mobilization and demobilization for national and international construction projects
Provide expert technical support to operational teams on site
Work closely with the Methods department to ensure effective equipment support for project execution

Oversee the technical and administrative follow-up of the equipment fleet
Support the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of construction and foundation equipment
Conduct regular site visits to inspect equipment and provide technical support to local teams

Support international equipment activities through back-office coordination
Provide technical and operational support to international project teams
Travel to international project locations for assignments of up to one month when required

Take on increasing technical and organizational responsibilities within the Plant & Equipment function
Mentor and support junior engineers
Contribute to strategic technical decisions relating to equipment and project support

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Mechanics or Electromechanics
Relevant professional experience in plant, equipment, construction, or a related engineering environment

Strong interest in technology, construction machinery, and engines
Hands-on and practical approach to technical challenges
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly

Dutch is mandatory
Good knowledge of French
Excellent English
Additional languages are considered an asset

Persevering, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial approach
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Clear and effective communication skills
Flexible approach and willingness to travel internationally

You will join a specialist Plant & Equipment environment supporting complex national and international construction projects.

The role combines technical engineering, equipment management, site interaction, and international project exposure, with opportunities to develop your responsibilities and contribute to strategic decisions within the function.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of construction and foundation equipment while collaborating with experienced operational, engineering, and methods teams across multiple projects.
