ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COLLECTIONS

The Accounts Receivable position will oversee cash applications for 1,000+ home loans and collections to ensure accounts are current. This position offers a unique blend of cash applications, collections, and accounts payable duties as well as assisting the supervisor with month-end reconciliation and month-end reporting.

• →Responsible for home loan cash applications
• →Responsible for collections.
• →Responsible for some accounts payable.
• →Maintenance of new loans, including reviewing documents for accuracy and completion.
• →Generation and processing of welcome letters, statements, and past-due notices.
• →Assist in establishing manageable payment plans for past-due accounts.
• →Assist with month-end closing including bank reconciliation and monthly reporting to management for multiple companies.
• →Assist with year-end preparation.

• Minimum 3 years of payables, receivables, or general accounting experience required
• AA in Accounting and/or strong understanding of accounting principles
• Spanish speaking required
• Excel skills - intermediate to advance
