Support Worker - Cleaning

• Reporting to the Home Manager located in Oaklands Park, we currently have an opportunity for Cleaners to join our team!

We are looking for Hospitality Assistants for our residential home at Oaklands Park.

As a passionate and experienced Hospitality Assistant, Cleaners and Laundry assistants, you will work as a member of our large hospitality team.

• →Assist with the catering service to meet resident’s food requirements. This will include food preparation, food storage, food hygiene, distribution and serving meals.
• →Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
• →Assist with the preparation of the Dining rooms.
• →Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines.
• →Maintain a high standard of cleaning to resident’s rooms and all general areas.
• →Adhere to infection control, manual handling, WHS procedures.
• →Maintain efficient and open communication.

• Experience in basic food preparation preferred but not essential
• Experience in micro-fibre cleaning preferred but not essential
• Excellent customer service approach, friendly and bubbly personality
• Effective time management skills and experience in a fast paced environment
• Basic understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia including those who display challenging behaviours and also basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care standards will be high regarded
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
