✓Ensure that all product is packaged according to the specific packaging instructions
✓Inspect material for any potential defects and report any quality concerns to the packaging team leader
✓Ensure material is packed in order of priority according to the ship dates indicated on the work order
✓Ensure hardness is checked and documented per order
✓Confirm that weights and piece counts of each order is correct
✓Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
✓Print tickets/labels for bundles using Epics
✓Comply with all quality related policies, procedures, and system requirements
✓Use hand tools such as staple guns or nail guns for the purpose of making skids
✓Assist in providing training and support to new workers
✓Maintain a safe and clean workspace at all times
✓Responsible to follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all Can Art Company Policies
✓High school diploma or equivalent
✓Minimum 2 years’ experience as a machine operator; heavy manufacturing, extrusion, or similar environment experience an asset
✓Ability to read and write in English
✓Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace
✓Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills
✓Team player capable of working with minimal supervision
✓Knowledge of health and safety best practices in a manufacturing environment
✓Plant Environment
✓Twelve hour rotating continental shift
✓Exposure to loud noise and heat
✓May be required to lift up to 50lbs
✓Overtime as needed
