Data Management Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Data & Analytics | Type: Permanent

• →Design and implement modern data management frameworks, incorporating automation and AI where appropriate
• →Define and embed data governance, ownership, and operating models aligned to business and regulatory objectives
• →Deliver core data management capabilities, including data quality, metadata and lineage solutions
• →Support the rollout and adoption of data management frameworks, working with stakeholders across business and technology
• →Contribute to Capco thought leadership, exploring how agentic and automated data management is shaping financial services

• Strong experience in data management, data quality or data strategy, ideally within financial services
• Practical knowledge of data governance frameworks such as DAMA, DCAM or CDMC
• Experience designing or operationalising data management capabilities, including DQ, lineage and metadata management
• Familiarity with data management tooling such as Collibra, Solidatus, Ataccama or Informatica
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for a range of stakeholders

• Exposure to AI-enabled or automated data management solutions
• Understanding of regulatory drivers such as GDPR, BCBS 239, EU AI Governance Act or ESG reporting
• Experience supporting vendor selection, roadmaps or business cases for data initiatives
• Consulting experience in dynamic, cross-functional environments
• Experience supporting small teams or workstreams
