Capco is growing our business across Asia, and we're looking for a hands-on Talent Acquisition professional to join our Malaysia team and help us identify, engage and hire the talent that will support our continued growth.

This is not a recruitment coordination role. You will own hiring end-to-end — from understanding the requirement and proactively identifying talent, through screening and stakeholder management, to offer and onboarding.

You'll join a collaborative regional Talent Acquisition team where everyone remains close to recruitment delivery while also contributing to how we continuously improve the way we attract and hire talent.

If you enjoy finding great people, navigating complex hiring requirements and working closely with business stakeholders in a fast-moving environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Capco is a global technology and business consultancy focused on the financial services industry. We combine deep industry expertise with consulting and technology capabilities to help our clients transform their businesses.

Our work spans areas including:

  • Banking, payments, wealth & asset management and capital markets
  • Finance, risk, regulatory and compliance
  • Data, digital and technology transformation
  • Financial crime and core banking
  • Emerging technologies and AI

We value collaboration, entrepreneurship and diverse perspectives, and encourage our people to #BeYourselfAtWork.

As an Recruitment Business Partner, you will be a key member of our in-house Talent Acquisition team, managing recruitment across Capco's consulting business in Malaysia and supporting regional hiring requirements where needed.

You will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle and will work directly with hiring managers and business stakeholders to translate demand into effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • →Own end-to-end recruitment across assigned roles, from requirement intake and sourcing through screening, interviews, offer management and onboarding.
  • →Build targeted talent pipelines using LinkedIn, job platforms, employee referrals, internal networks and other sourcing channels.
  • →Proactively identify and engage passive candidates rather than relying solely on inbound applications.
  • →Develop a strong understanding of Capco's business, consulting capabilities and talent requirements to improve candidate quality and hiring outcomes.
  • →Partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand requirements, calibrate profiles and provide market insights.
  • →Conduct recruiter screens to assess candidates for experience, capability, motivation and alignment with Capco's culture and opportunities.
  • →Manage candidates throughout the recruitment journey, maintaining a high-quality and responsive candidate experience.
  • →Coordinate closely with interviewers and stakeholders to maintain momentum, obtain timely feedback and progress candidates through the hiring process.
  • →Manage offers and candidate closing, including compensation discussions, notice periods and potential joining risks.
  • →Work with HR Operations and other internal teams to support a smooth offer-to-onboarding journey.
  • →Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide meaningful pipeline, conversion and hiring insights.
  • →Contribute to recruitment initiatives such as employee referrals, talent mapping, employer branding and process improvement.
  • →Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues across Asia on regional hiring priorities and shared talent pools.

We're looking for someone who enjoys recruiting itself — sourcing, speaking with candidates, understanding the market and ultimately helping the business hire the right people.

You will ideally have:

  • 2–4+ years of recruitment experience within an in-house Talent Acquisition, RPO/MSP or recruitment agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment.
  • Strong hands-on sourcing capability, including experience identifying and engaging passive talent.
  • Experience recruiting within financial services, consulting, technology or other professional-services environments is highly desirable.
  • The ability to understand complex or evolving requirements and translate them into effective sourcing and candidate strategies.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
  • Confidence working directly with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, relationship-management and influencing skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple roles, candidates and priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive and resourceful mindset — someone who identifies problems and takes ownership of solving them.
  • Comfort working with recruitment data and using pipeline and conversion insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Fluency in English. Mandarin and/or Cantonese would be advantageous, particularly for supporting selected regional hiring requirements.

Success in this role isn't simply measured by the number of CVs generated.

You'll help us build relevant, high-quality talent pipelines, move candidates effectively through the recruitment process, build trusted relationships with our stakeholders and deliver successful hires while creating a strong candidate experience.

Over time, you'll also have opportunities to take ownership of broader Talent Acquisition initiatives and contribute to how we evolve our recruitment capability across the region.

You'll join a collaborative environment where you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with business leaders and experienced recruitment professionals.
  • Recruit across diverse financial-services and consulting domains.
  • Gain exposure to regional hiring and talent markets across Asia.
  • Take meaningful ownership rather than operating within a narrowly defined recruitment process.
  • Contribute ideas and help improve how we source, assess and engage talent.
  • Develop your career as Capco's business and Talent Acquisition capability continue to evolve.

If you're an experienced recruiter who enjoys being hands-on, commercially minded and close to both candidates and the business, we'd love to hear from you.
