Leadpoint Business Services has an outdoor Housekeeper position available at a recycling center in Spokane, WA. The Facility Cleaner is responsible for supporting the maintenance and operations team by cleaning in and out of the recycling facility. Working with the support team to identify safety concerns, maintenance opportunities and performing general labor duties in and around the recycling facility.

This is a full-time, permanent general labor position doing work that helps the environment and protects the planet. You’ll have the chance to start right away and move up over time. 

Benefits of the Housekeeper 

Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays from 8am to 4:30pm

Hourly pay of $17.50/hr

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper 

• Cleaning up spills with appropriate cleaning equipment, 

• Cleaning windows and mirrors with appropriate cleaning supplies, 

• Completing tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision, 

• Dusting, sweeping, and mopping breakroom floors and hallways, 

• Gathering and emptying trash receptacles, 

• Maintaining bathroom cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected,   

• Notifying supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance, 

• Organizing janitorial storage areas, and 

• Sanitizing, scrubbing, and supplying restroom facilities. 
  

Requirements of the Housekeeper  

• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, 

• Ability to manage time efficiently, 

• Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time, 

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours, 

• Must be able to work for several hours standing, 

• Must be in very good physical condition and strength, 

• Must be proactive when it comes to carrying out his/her duties, 

• Must be self-motivated, and work with little or no supervision, 

• Must follow all Leadpoint Health and Safety regulations, 

• Must possess good communication skills, and 

• Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role.
