Job Summary The Survey / CAD Designer is responsible for preparing detailed survey drawings, base maps, and design plans using CAD software while working closely with survey crews, engineers, and project managers.
Prepare survey drawings including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking plans. Process field data from survey crews and incorporate it into CAD drawings.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–7+ years of experience in surveying or civil design drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).

This role supports land development, transportation, and infrastructure projects by converting field data into accurate digital drawings and assisting with design documentation.

- Familiarity with land development, roadway design, and utility layouts.
- Knowledge of local surveying standards and regulations.
- Survey Technician certification or progress toward Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
