We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Deal Desk Pricing Analyst to support our sales and recruiting teams in optimizing pricing decisions at the point of deal execution. This individual will partner directly with recruiters and account executives during the submittal and offer stages to ensure pricing discipline, maximize gross margin, and maintain alignment with company pricing strategy.This role is critical to protecting and expanding bill/pay spread while enabling deal velocity.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Review deals at submittal and offer stage for pricing accuracy and margin optimization• Ensure correct use of pricing calculators and rate cards• Validate bill rates, pay rates, and expected margin• Identify opportunities to improve spread without sacrificing fill probability• Provide real-time pricing recommendations to recruiters and AEs using existing tools• Enforce pricing guardrails and approval workflows• Track pricing exceptions and margin leakage• Analyze pricing trends and provide leadership insights
Requirements
~1 min read• 1–4 years experience in pricing, finance, analytics, or deal desk• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills• Understanding of unit economics and margin concepts• High attention to detail and strong business judgment• Ability to work in fast-paced, transactional environments• Strong communication and influencing skills
