Freelance Talent Acquisition Advisor

For our growing Advisory practice, we are looking for a Freelance Talent Acquisition Advisor. In this role, you will support the recruitment of experienced Deals & Corporate Finance professionals across our Advisory business and act as a trusted partner to our Partners and Hiring Managers. 

As a Freelance Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will take ownership of the complete recruitment process for experienced hires within our Advisory practice. You will work closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs, translate them into recruitment strategies and build strong talent pipelines. Your responsibilities include: 

• Acting as a trusted recruitment partner for Partners and Hiring Managers. 

• Managing the full recruitment cycle, from intake and sourcing to offer management. 

• Developing proactive sourcing strategies for highly specialized advisory profiles. 

• Identifying and engaging talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks and direct search activities. 

• Building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future business needs. 

• Conducting screening interviews and assessing candidates on skills, motivation and cultural fit. 

• Coordinating interviews and ensuring a smooth recruitment process for all stakeholders. 

• Advising hiring managers on market trends, talent availability and recruitment best practices. 

• Delivering an outstanding candidate experience throughout the entire hiring journey. 

• At least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Executive Search or Recruitment Consultancy. 

• Proven success in recruiting experienced Deals & Corporate Finance professionals within consulting.  
• A strong understanding of the Belgian recruitment market, with focus on M&A, Due Diligence, Valuation and Treasury professionals.  

• Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates through direct sourcing. 

• The ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. 

• Strong communication, networking and stakeholder management skills. 

• A proactive, results-driven and hands-on mindset. 

• Excellent command of Dutch, French and English. 

• Availability to work regularly from one of our BDO offices and connect with stakeholders in person. 

• A freelance assignment from October 2026 until June 2027, with the possibility of extension. 

• Flexible working arrangements, combining homeworking and office presence across our network of 14 Belgian offices.
