Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the above programs and support the overall department culture. This position is a key contributor to the mission and vision for services in Short Term Housing Stabilization (STHS) Department.
  • Provide direct supervision to Program Supervisors with particular emphasis on upholding Organizational and Department Values and supporting staff growth.
  • Build and maintain inter-organizational relationships to enhance our partnerships and ensure solid processes and interactions.
  • Develop processes and train staff in the contract documentation requirements and other program critical contract elements.
  • Observe/follow confidentiality guidelines and client privacy.
  • Maintain accurate record of hours worked and submit timesheets on schedule.
  • Attend agency trainings as required.
  • Participate as team member in staff and supervisory meetings as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide leadership in coordination with Database administration in uploading data to King County HMIS.
  • Assist in the quality improvement process that includes: data quality, contract compliance, file reviews, HMIS management reports and other system management reports and make recommendations to improve service delivery to clients, provider community and funders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide high level services to clients.
  • Ensure client records are kept in accordance with agency standards amongst their program as well as contract standards where applicable.
  • Ensure that all agency required practices such as Credit Card Expenditure Forms, Timesheets, and HR needs are provided to in a complete and timely manner
  • Pursue system minimum standards which include exiting at least 80% of households to stable housing.
  • Review, approve client assistance expenditures of approximately $1 million annually.
  • Support the compliance department with monthly financial reconciles
  • Prepare and submit invoices to contract funders.
  • Evaluate and adjust program expenditures to ensure appropriate contract spending.

Requirements

  • The cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem-solving, and comprehending.

 

  • At least 4 years of experience in direct provision of social services, preferably with homeless households.
  • Two year supervisory experience.
  • Experience navigating databases and data entry including the ability to troubleshoot errors.
  • A strong understanding of Trauma Informed Services and the circumstances surrounding homelessness.
  • Experience with reconciling financial ledgers or grant funds
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Commitment to working within the mission, goals and values of Catholic Community Services
  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work or a related field.
  • Three years supervisory experience.
  • Fluency in second language that is spoken by a substantial number of King County Households.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field may in some cases substitute for some of the required work experience.
