We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to join our team and assist in providing excellent transportation services to our senior residents. As a Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities.
In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents while fostering a warm, and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to transportation, you will assist with setting up for activities, ensuring our residents enjoy a full range of experiences.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled events.
- →Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use at all times.
- →Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- →Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, destinations, and any special needs.
- →Assist with setting up and preparing for resident activities and events.
- →Communicate with team members to coordinate transportation needs and schedule adjustments.
- →Follow all safety and traffic regulations to ensure a smooth and secure journey.
- →Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
~1 min read- Valid Commercial Arizona Driver’s License with "P" endorsement (or ability to obtain prior to employment) and a clean driving record.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., passenger vans or buses) is preferrd but not required.
- Previous experience working with seniors is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with seniors.
- Ability to lift and assist residents as needed, with the support of other team members.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and evenings when needed.
