Lamuse d’Or Steward | Part Time

LAMUSE d’OR offers a French coastal dining experience at Kaiya Beach Resort in Inlet Beach, Florida. We are hiring motivated, dependable Stewards who take pride in cleanliness and organization. Stewarding is an essential professional role in our kitchen: clean equipment, orderly work areas, and consistent sanitation support every part of production and service. This position is ideal for someone who works steadily, pays attention to details, and brings a quiet, professional approach while learning alongside an experienced culinary team. We want professionals who take ownership of cleanliness and see the value in a well-run dish area. You do not need to know every procedure when you arrive, but you should be willing to ask questions, take direction, and keep improving. Consistency, care for equipment, and respect for the team matter every day.

• →Wash, sanitize, air-dry, and properly organize cookware, utensils, china, kitchen tools, and equipment.
• →Maintain a clean, organized dish and stewarding area throughout the shift and keep clean and soiled items separated.
• →Keep floors, sinks, drains, shelving, trash areas, and other back-of-house spaces clean according to assigned procedures.
• →Use dishwashing equipment and cleaning chemicals safely; follow instructions for proper sanitation concentrations.
• →Keep chemicals labeled, stocked, and stored separately from food and food-contact items; communicate supply shortages.
• →Remove trash and recycling promptly and participate in scheduled deep-cleaning projects.
• →Return clean equipment to designated locations; handle china and tools with care and report damage or maintenance concerns.
• →Follow opening, closing, cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures; support the team with cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.
• →Communicate respectfully with chefs, cooks, and other team members; demonstrate professionalism and hospitality toward guests and colleagues.
• →Be willing to learn equipment, cleaning methods, and kitchen procedures and receive coaching.

• Stewarding, dishwashing, or professional cleaning experience helpful; training is available.
• Ability to follow sanitation instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Comfort working efficiently in a busy kitchen and keeping the work area controlled during service.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, organization, and personal responsibility.
• Professional communication, a positive attitude, and willingness to receive instruction and constructive feedback.
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, along with scheduled training.
• Food Handler Certification preferred.
